Camels and Heavy Camels: Strong vs about all other cavarlry, but weak to Infantry and archers
Knights,Cavalies, and Paladins: High attack,good for almost any battle, and good armour,good vs Archers and good for attacking siege weapons afar. Weak vs Mamelukes and Pikemen and Camels.

• Fast Resources

Use the following trick to rapidly enter the cheat codes and get resources quickly. For wood, press Enter, type lumberjack, highlight the word, then press Ctrl + C to copy it. Press Enter to activate the cheat. Press Enter again, then press Ctrl + V to paste the word on the screen for activation. Repeat to get resources quickly. • Free Ally

When you build a market, there is a chance that a rival tribe will ask you to send them a certain amount of wood, stone, gold, and food. When they do, click on 'Diplomacy' or press Alt + D and click 'Ally' on the name of that tribe. They will become an ally free of charge. However, when you do this you will no longer be able to align yourself with any other tribes. This is helpful if there are four tribes in the game. | Submitted by CidHighwind

• Machine Gunners

For this cheat your must have CREATED a map with at least one SHAH on it. (to create a shah, go to heroes and press 'S'. Then, play the map and select your sha, bring it over to an enemy unit / building (preferably a house) and right click on that object. The shah will begin attacking it! • More Bases Advantage

To have a better chance of winning, you might want to build more than one base. Enlarge the base you start out with, making it completely fortified with at least two castles. Then, send a scout cavalry, or some other fast moving unit, to the opposite side of the map from your base. After you have checked the area and confirmed that it is safe, send a villager to build a castle at that location and fortify that base. This is very helpful if your enemy knows where one of your bases is located, especially during online play. | Submitted by CidHighwind

If you dont care about other units, just so you can win, then you should try to make as many Knights as possible, because there really strong and fast. Also,you should create a big number of your unique units. This will come in handy. Also, to have some fun you can make a large army of Archers and be almost invincible! | Submitted by Giiga

• Starting tips!

This If you start out with just three villagers and a town center and a scout. (the normal) I start out with one villager making 2 or 3 houses while 1 starts cutting down the trees by the town center. The last one should herd in the sheep close by your town center.Then make about as many villagers as you can with your food. Evenly, sort out your new villagers back to food gathering and wood gathering until you have enough villagers to gather stone and gold.When you build it would be wise to build out a little ways out of the town center so enemys will have a hard time reaching your main part of town.
In Early times of your game you should start making cheap archers, just to get enough time to get to the better soiders. If you have 'All VISABLE' or 'MARCO and POLO' and you see your enemys with little or short amouts of buidings or soiders dont take them as a weak enemy because they can start armys and attacks any time! If you start out with many reasources then you could research stuff that will help you gather reasources faster! | Submitted by Giiga

If you didn't already know, you can destroy trees with Siege Onagers. You can use this to destroy trees around the enemy towns and surprise them without breaking down their walls because they wouldn't have defenses around trees.

Build some battering rams and garrison some men inside them. Then put the rams on transports so you have quite a few more men then the transports are supposed to allow.

First you press enter and put in the cheatcodeNatural Wonders. Then you use any deer to attacksomething at it will look like a deer off of Ageof Empires1, But be careful as you cannot go backto your original playing state.

Note: this code only works if your ally has atleast one of the relics. If your ally's Monastery(that has a relic in it) has been damaged, andthey send someone to fix it up, to make it'shealth rise faster while the villager is workingclick on the Monastery and then click on therelic inside of the Monastery. This will makeit's hit point's rise faster.

You get a monkey with 99 attack and 99 armor butit only has nine hitpoints.

Build two barracks, archery ranges, stables, andblack smiths. This will make it easier to upgrade and build alot of units. Have one villagerbuild alot of houses and take over the center ofthe map. Keep in time with upgrading. And alwayshave a large army right from the beginning.

Sometimes your allies don't attack the enemy wereyou want them too. So just build uselessbuildings close to your enemies. Then make achain of these buildings up to your allies. Whenthe enemys starts destroying these buildings hitenter then type 31. Then the allies will run outand slaughter the enimies.

Press Enter, type in a cheat, highlight it, press Ctrl+C, and then press Enter. Then every time you want to type this in press enter, Ctrl+V, and enter (works best with resource cheats, like rock on, lumberjack, robin hood, or cheese steak jimmy's).
